It is common practice for the IMF to visit a country financially supported by the IMF and the EC, that has recently changed its government," said Tonny Lybek, the IMF regional representative in Romania and Bulgaria.

The letter of intent for Romania's stand-by arrangement with the IMF agreed on the latest IMF visit to Bucharest in Feb. will not be discussed.

Deputy Daniel Oajdea, who has been independent since 2011, when he was expelled from the main ruling party, the Democratic Liberal Party (PDL), said he had joined the People's Party-Dan Diaconescu (PP-DD), thus bringing this recently founded party to Romania's Parliament.
